Monday morning I woke up so sore and achy, I had trouble moving. After lifting 4 bags of mulch in and out of the car and then dragging them around the garden my body was screaming for help. But that wasn’t the only reason my body was crying out for help. I think the biggest contributing factor to my aching back was the fact that I had to pull Tiara up from a sitting position at least 5 times on Sunday. She is having troubles getting up and can’t seem to do it by herself so I have to help. Now that she is walking around she keeps getting stuck and can’t get herself back up. I can usually do it with 100% effort but last night I attempted giving her a bath by myself while Lou was working and I contemplated letting her sleep in the bathtub because I couldn’t get her out.
Once the water was drained we tried several times to get out with the help of myself and the handicap rails we have in her bathtub but she kept saying “I can’t do it, I can’t do it.” She was in a really awkward position since she was at one end of the tub, turned forward and no matter what I said she wouldn’t readjust her position. I finally pulled her out after 10 minutes but not without seriously grunting, groaning and praying for strength. I sounded like one of those crazy guys at the gym that is moaning because he is trying to be cool by lifting more weight than he should.
Once I got her out, dressed, teeth brushed, lotion on, and hair brushed I literally collapsed to the floor. I couldn’t move for 30 minutes, my whole body was tingling and numb. Luckily Lou got home from work at that point and rubbed stuff on my back to help with the pain.
Monday I woke up with big plans for our walk but Trinity was still sneezing and blowing her nose like when she finally fell asleep at 10pm on Sunday night. The poor kid has such terrible allergies that from spending a little time outside helping me with the mulch she was a disaster. She sneezed for hours on end. I took her to the allergist today as she couldn’t even make it to school and they loaded her up with several nose sprays, eczema cream, sinus rinse junk and 2 antihistamines. She was looking better in a few hours so hopefully she will be back to school tomorrow.
After I got Tiara all set for the morning, I started the laundry and took out the trash. Lou was still home getting ready for work and called out to me as I came into our room to check on Tiara. Doesn’t she just look like an angel sitting there working on her coloring?
Lou: “Tiffani, were you doing something to your clothes in the closet?”
Me: “No, why?”
Lou: “You better come in here.”
Me: “What the *******, Tiara, what did you do? Were you in my closet?” Why I even bothered asking her was a joke because obviously it was her.
I stomped out to the bedroom and started telling her she was in trouble and not to touch my clothes. Her response:
“Dress, Dress!”
She loves to wear my dresses and I hadn’t even noticed that she was wearing my black shirt when I snapped this photo.
Developmentally Delayed or Not all the teenagers in my house are the same. Always stealing my clothes, make-up and anything they can get their hands on and never returning it to the proper place. Can’t wait until I have a third girl doing the same thing, it will be anytime now.

Oh so true Tiffani and both my kids are constantly trying on my shoes and practically killing themselves walking around in them. I am sure it will only be a matter of time here, too! 🙂
