where is tiffani?

 

Today, Tiara came up with a new game before her nap time.  She thought it would be really funny to start putting necklaces and bows on me, which is pretty normal for her but then she started burying me alive with all her toys.  The more she covered me up, the funnier she thought it was.  I actually thought it was really funny too until she went to her bookshelf and starting throwing books at me from across the room.  Well, the game had to end at that point but I was super happy to be resting in the bed since I slept a whole 3 hours last night.

 

Tabitha, was leaving for Coachella last night which has totally been stressing me out.  She was going with 4 other girls and staying at a condo, but one of the girls flights from college was delayed so they couldn’t drive out to desert until 10:30 pm.  Well I said my good-byes and went to bed  at  10:00pm  but she came in at 10:30 pm to give me one last kiss good-bye, which was so sweet, but I re-woke up.  At 12:20pm I bolted awake and my heart was racing and I felt panicked.  Something seemed wrong.  I texted her, assuming her friend was in charge of reading and responding to all text messages while Tabitha drove and she sent me this picture from the freeway.

 

Well that did not make me feel better at all!  She then proceeded to tell me the traffic was so stopped she was standing on the freeway and took a picture of her friends in the next car.   Are you flipping kidding me?  I felt so much sicker to my stomach it wasn’t even funny.  I immediately texted her back and said” I hope you are kidding, that is the most dangerous thing in the world!!!!”  She responded, “Oh, yes mom, I was absolutely kidding….”  Yeah right.  That was it, I couldn’t back to sleep.  So I got up, worked on the computer, wandered the house until 2:30am when she let me know she was finally in the condo.  By 3:30am I was back asleep and Tiara decided she should wake up for the day.  Lou tried to help, and got the iPod, put on the movie, got her a photo album but he fell back asleep and Tiara started wandering the house.   I decided I better get up and follow her to the living room.  I put on her “13 going on 30” movie and must have fallen back to sleep on the couch because when I woke up at 6am there was a huge bowl of cashews next to her, cookies scattered all over the kitchen counter, juice spilled, and more crayons on the floor than I have ever seen.  Well at least she was still in one piece and I got a total of 3 hours sleep.  

Just got another picture of Tabitha in her Coachella outfit for the night.  OMG, everyone pray she stays safe and I get some sleep the rest of the weekend.  Super scared!!!  

 

Happy Saturday and I am jealous of everyone who doesn’t have a child at Coachella…
