As I have mentioned before Tiara has a Lifeproof case on my ipad, which is now her ipad. It has been slammed, thrown, smashed and tossed over fences. Last week she threw it over the side fence and it landed on the edge of the neighbor’s pool. The headphones landed in the water but the case and the ipad survived a 20 foot launch!
The funny thing is that we thought we had lost it once again. Neither Lou nor I could find it. We searched the normal places, under the couch, in the bushes, in the trees, near the trashcans where she tries to escape but finally we gave up and went to bed. In the morning I was on my way out to take Trinity to school and there was a plastic garage bag hanging from my front gate. I looked inside and there was the ipad, the headphones and a yellow cup I lost about 6 months ago and a note.
The note said: ” I found this on the edge of my pool, hope it isn’t broken in.”
I turned it on and guess what, it still worked! Yay! The problem is that after so many falls the “lifeproof case is on it’s last leg and keeps coming apart. I looked at the warranty and it is limited so even though we have had it less than a year, they won’t replace for normal wear and tear. I am guessing they might think Tiara’s wear and tear is a little excessive and not normal, so I am not even bothering to try. So it looks like I will be spending 100$ of my birthday money on a new case for TT. I guess it is better than spending $500 on a new ipad. Now I just need a case that combines the Lifeproof safety but also comes with an extra battery, like a Mophie. Please someone make that soon!
Short but sweet today as I am not feeling great! Hope everyone has a happy day!

Sounds like a great case and I am always looking for something stronger for my girls who play with my iPad and wonder if they make for iPad’s too. And I am still hoping you have a wonderful birthday now!! 🙂 xoxo!!

Their must be a case manufacturer out there who wants to prove the capabilities of their case.Tiara could be their product tester! Certainly a good advertisement. Keep smilin’! You are amazing.

Tricia has a good point! You should share this story with the manufacturer, perhaps they would send you a replacement for free!!
I so often feel as though I mirror you life with my TS child! The swing, the wet pants, the coloring all over the walls, etc. You make me smile with your stories, makes me feel ‘not so nutty’!!
Have a great day!!
