Memorable Monday: Christmas without Lou

Dec. 10, 2012

December 1989 Lou and I met at SDSU in September of 1989.   If you haven’t read the funny way Lou and I met you may want to go back and read my post, “Did you know my hubby was my little brother?”, you will laugh.  Either way, we made a plan in December that…

tag you’re it!

Dec. 07, 2012

My blogger friend Lanaya, from Raising Reagan started this game of tag to learn more about the Christmas traditions of her blogging friends.  You are supposed to ask 5 bloggers, 5  questions about their traditions and then carry on the process.  Lanaya tagged Leslie of Violet Imperfection and Leslie tagged me so I am finally…

And once again, it’s time for the Christmas Card!

Dec. 05, 2012

Just so you understand me, I LOVE CHRISTMAS CARDS.  I love to send them and receive them.  Like many things in my life, before the recession, our Christmas card was a rather large production.  First I needed to get a professional photograph taken, then I needed to find the coolest most original card…

Memorable Monday’s, my new series….Tabitha’s birth

Dec. 03, 2012

I have been trying to come up with a good idea for my Monday posts since I concluded “My Journey with Tiara,” and Tabitha finally came up with a great idea for me on Friday night.  “How about Memorable Monday’s Mom?  “Love it!”  Memorable Monday’s will mostly be funny memories from my life, of course…

Having one of “those” days!

Nov. 29, 2012

I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about when I say ” I am having one of those days”! We all have them once in a while, and I probably have one at least once a week, but they happen to everyone. I woke up exhausted again as I haven’t gotten a…

Am I really that embarrassing?

Nov. 27, 2012

I think I have mentioned before that Trinity is constantly embarrassed by my presence.  It still shocks me at times and today she really threw me for a loop. When Tiara and I pick her up from school everyday we used to walk onto campus and wait with all the other parents.  I would…

Thank Gosh it’s Monday!

Nov. 26, 2012

Seriously, this Thanksgiving weekend felt like it was a month long with Saturday and Sunday lasting  3 of the 4 weeks.  We just got home from our normal Sunday lunch at Fashion Island and I barely survived the car ride home.  Just before we left the mall, Tiara pushed back her wheelchair and ran over…

If you need help, ask your kid!

Nov. 21, 2012

As I have mentioned before I am a frustrated graphic designer.  I love fabulous logos, great looking brochures and am envious of anyone who is a whiz at photoshop/photoelements or any program that can help you make beautiful stuff.  I am getting better on Photoshop everyday but not good enough.  A week ago I had…

Getting sick? Here is my sickness approach…

Nov. 15, 2012

Yes, I know I am not a trained medical professional and I am not pretending to be but through the years I have developed a few tricks that may help you when the viruses start to hit, which is NOW. I don’t know about where you live, but everyone is getting either the stomach flu,…

Apparently I’m going bald!

Nov. 14, 2012

So as long as I can remember I have had a cowlick on the right back side of my head.  As a kid I would shower in the evening and when I woke up in the morning I had this huge tuft of hair sticking up on the back of my head.  It seemed…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
