Can women really do it all?

Feb. 27, 2013

Saturday, I was on the computer blog hopping while Trinity was sitting at the table eating her lunch.  Tiara was coloring and we were wasting some time until it was time for Trinity’s gymnastics.  I ran across a blog written by a women whose tagline went something like this: working Mom of two toddlers, blogger…

A few interesting things I have seen in the past 2 days

Feb. 22, 2013

On Wednesday I went for a walk by myself.  I don’t think I have done this in over 2 years.  It was really cold and Tiara wanted to see her grandma so she came over to visit earlier than usual.  I was going to  work out at the gym but somehow Lou took my car…

A crazy night and why I need to worry

Feb. 21, 2013

Our trip to NYC is only a week and half away and my biggest concerns are Tiara will get sick before or while I am gone and Lou won’t wake up in the middle of the night when she needs something.  As every family knows, Mothers are Fathers are wired completely differently. Moms hear everything…

Valentine’s Day, just more work for me!

Feb. 14, 2013

This is how much I care about Valentine’s Day.  Zero.  This was my conversation Wednesday morning while Lou was getting ready for work. Lou:  So are we exchanging Valentine’s? Me:  Well, I made cookies for my sister’s kids, and plan on baking something for our Mom’s.  I bought each girl something small and I was…

Why are we still married?

Feb. 12, 2013

Once in a while people will ask me “How are you and your husband?”  Many times it is someone I don’t know very well, but I always respond the same, “We are good.” I don’t think the answer satisfies them, but it is the truth.  How is it possible that we are still happy together…

What Would tiffani Do? Problems with the neighbor kid…

Feb. 03, 2013

I have received several questions for my new series “What Would tiffani Do?” and have decided I don’t want to wait to post my responses so I am going to answer the questions as they come in.  Here is the first question I received.   Hey Tiffani! Recently a family moved in next to us….

When nothing you do seems right…

Jan. 31, 2013

Today I was overwhelmed with the feeling that I screwed up again.  It’s that moment when you feel heavy, sad and disappointed in yourself and wonder how you could have made the same mistake again.  For every lesson I have learned in this life, the one I can’t seem to master is,  how to keep…

Tiara’s stripping has escalated!

Jan. 29, 2013

As I have mentioned before, Tiara is known to whip off her top if she is in the dress section of a store and see’s something fabulous she must try on immediately.  Well, the problem of taking off her clothes has escalated and is now officially considered ” a behavior” that needs to be stopped…

Have you heard of “tinder” yet?

Jan. 24, 2013

Since most of my readers are women with children aged 33-45, most of you probably haven’t heard of tinder, the new iphone app.  I just learned about it last week from Tabitha and I thought the whole concept was rather fascinating.  Fascinating that people in their late teens, early 20’s  spend most of their time connecting…

Do you invite solicitors into your home? I did last night…

Jan. 23, 2013

Most everyone hates door to door solicitors but I generally feel bad for them, so I always open the door for them.  In the past, our dog would go so crazy barking and jumping on the glass, I was always fearful he was going to bite the solicitor.  I think they feared for their lives…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
