I only had to do the Heimlich once, but we survived!

Jul. 20, 2012

So, as most of you know, I took Tiara to the fair yesterday.  It was super humid and hot but I decided to forge ahead and follow through with my plan.  At 3:30 Trinity and I loaded up the car, with 15 cans of food because every person who brought in 5 cans before…

Do we dare try again?

Jul. 19, 2012

It is fair time again, and yes my family loves the fair.  Tabitha and Trinity actually ride all the frightening crazy rides designed for adrenaline junkies.  Apparently my girls get this from Louie because I feel sick just watching the rides and can’t be persuaded to ride anything at the fair.  I am…

Re-entry is always hard…

Jul. 09, 2012

So I am forgoing my normal Monday post , My Journey with Tiara, as I am way too emotionally and physically tired, to rehash Tiara’s past medical history.  In addition, that post always takes me several hours to write and I don’t have several hours to spare today as I am having 11 people…

I hate your face!

Jul. 06, 2012

I bet you have never heard the expression, “I hate your face,” until today.  Well in our household it is a very common expletive that Tiara yells to different people throughout the day at least 20 times, starting first thing in the morning. When we first heard it we couldn’t help but laugh because…

A memorable 4th of July…

Jul. 04, 2012

I was thinking about what I wanted to write today and the memory of me at 11 years old on the 4th of July, kept coming to mind over and over again, so I decided why not share what a freak I was. I grew up in Newport Shores across the street from the…

How can you not know what size you wear?

Jul. 03, 2012

My husband Lou has been wearing the same size clothing for the past 10 years and yet he still can’t remember what size he wears.  Lou and I have a long complicated history in regards to his wardrobe.  When we met he only shopped at Nordstrom’s.  He had a credit card from his parents…

Where is all my stuff?

Jun. 27, 2012

If you have a teenager living with you, you understand the title of this post.  Where is my stuff?  Why is it that teenagers are smart enough to find everything they need of YOURS but can NEVER remember how to put anything back where it belongs?  Hummmm.  I guess they “just forgot”to return it…

Tiara gets a beach day!

Jun. 26, 2012

Just so you know, Tiara has not been swimming in a pool in 3 years.  She absolutely loves to swim, but if you bring her around a pool she will just jump in whether she has a suit on or not and despite the fact that she doesn’t know how to swim.  After years…

Everyone just leave me alone…

Jun. 22, 2012

I am having one of those days again and I just want everyone to get the hell out of my house and leave me alone.  That would be heaven, so rude of me, but true.  I dream of the day my house stays clean all day, no one complains they are bored, no one…

The best thing about Dad’s…

Jun. 17, 2012

How cute is my Dad?  So cute, love the tie and the aviators.  Sometimes I think women today don’t realize the importance of men and Father’s in their children’s lives.  So many women work, take care of the kids and even more, to the point where they forget that kids need Dads and…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
