Tiara’s stripping has escalated!

Jan. 29, 2013

As I have mentioned before, Tiara is known to whip off her top if she is in the dress section of a store and see’s something fabulous she must try on immediately.  Well, the problem of taking off her clothes has escalated and is now officially considered ” a behavior” that needs to be stopped…

Do you allow your kids to play on their phones during dinner?

Jan. 28, 2013

I have spent the past few days thinking about this topic and keep going back and forth in mind trying to decide whether my opinion on this scenario is accurate or I’m just be judgmental.  Help me decide and let me know what you think because I am sure most of you have a strong…

Have you heard of “tinder” yet?

Jan. 24, 2013

Since most of my readers are women with children aged 33-45, most of you probably haven’t heard of tinder, the new iphone app.  I just learned about it last week from Tabitha and I thought the whole concept was rather fascinating.  Fascinating that people in their late teens, early 20’s  spend most of their time connecting…

Do you invite solicitors into your home? I did last night…

Jan. 23, 2013

Most everyone hates door to door solicitors but I generally feel bad for them, so I always open the door for them.  In the past, our dog would go so crazy barking and jumping on the glass, I was always fearful he was going to bite the solicitor.  I think they feared for their lives…

Life after Bailey’s passing…

Jan. 21, 2013

Since last Wednesday, it seems as if a lot has changed in our lives.  Thursday we all woke up feeling the loss of our dog and I wasn’t quite sure how to help Tabitha through her grieving.  She finally made it to work and I decided that I needed to clean out her room because…

If you had endless amounts of money, how would your life be different?

Jan. 17, 2013

Today I received an email from a reader with a referral to a medical doctor who practices Western and Eastern together.  She said he accepted insurance, which I was really surprised to hear, so I called him immediately.  Of course, the sweet receptionist informed me they stopped accepting Aetna last year, so I thanked her…

Memorable Monday’s, My 4 year old self…

Jan. 14, 2013

So I haven’t done a proper Memorable Monday series since December 24 and I was going to skip it again today because I’m still feeling like crap and can barely keep my eyes open but suddenly I just changed my mind.  I think I would rather tell you a funny story about me as a…

Welcome to the Goff House…

Jan. 07, 2013

I can’t tell you how great it feels to be home with Tiara.  We finally got released from the hospital on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and when we drove up to the house, I could see from the driveway that something was posted on our front door.   “What the heck is that?”  I thought to…

Merry Christmas!

Dec. 25, 2012

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my readers.  I would love to wish you all a peaceful, wonderful and hectic free Christmas but if you have kids and a family I doubt any of these things will happen.  Most likely all the Moms and Dads are exhausted from staying up late to assembly…

Are you ready for Christmas yet?

Dec. 21, 2012

Well, for the first time in lots of years, I am ready for Christmas early!  I have bought and wrapped all the gifts (even the Santa gifts, I normally organize and wrap at 10pm on Christmas Eve).  Sent out my cards, while keeping my addresses updated on the computer each time a new address…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
