Who do you look like?

Sep. 12, 2012

My whole life, everyone has told me I looked like my Dad.  We both had blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin as opposed to my Mom and sister’s big brown eyes and darker complexion.  Funny enough about 7 years ago, I had to start wearing glasses to read and realized I didn’t look…

My year long hair color adventure starts today!

Sep. 11, 2012

As you know I have been leaving hints as to the big change I was going to do for my 43rd birthday today and as you can see from the picture, I dyed my hair red. I have had blonde hair my entire life and wanted to do something fun and dramatic for my…

Just when I thought it was getting better, everything went back to normal

Sep. 05, 2012

So, I have to say this weekend, which I was dreading, turned out to have some really surprising high points.  Trinity and I took Tiara to Target and the market on Friday, two public places in one day, is really pushing it, and at both places, she actually walked, wasn’t in her wheelchair, and…

I wasn’t going to post, but then I couldn’t stop writing…

Aug. 24, 2012

I just sat down to write a little blurb about how I wasn’t going to post today and yet here I am writing.  A normal person would just not bother to post anything, but then again we all know I am far from normal. So I might as well keep going and tell you…

I bet you didn’t know “slave day” was a fundraiser?

Aug. 16, 2012

I am in the midst of planning my 25th high school reunion and as a result have been daydreaming about all the fun times I had in high school. I started thinking about the end of 1986 when I participated in Newport Harbor’s SLAVE DAY.  I know, can you believe the ASB hosted a…

How many 10 year old entepreneur’s do you know?

Aug. 15, 2012

Well, I know one, and he is my nephew, Indiana.  Indiana is always looking for a way to make money.  He first started his own jewelry line for boys a few years back soon after my sister, his mom, started a jewelry business.  He then moved on to making cards and selling them to…

Should I take a break?

Aug. 14, 2012

So it is Monday morning and I just got home from my walk with TT and Rorie and Lou came in from washing my filthy car.  He starts work late today, and after 2 beach days this weekend my car looked like a sandbox.  I was doing my stretches to try and fix my…

Thinking it is who you know…

Aug. 13, 2012

I know, sorry, but no journey with Tiara today.  I wrote this post last week and forgot about it.  Because I am hosting another dinner for 15 people tonight, ( my mother in laws birthday) and am totally overwhelmed as usual, I decided to make my life easy and post this instead of dredging…

A great day in more than one way…

Aug. 10, 2012

First of all today was our yearly birthday celebration for my 2 nephews and one niece.  Since they have been old enough to go on rides Lou has taken them every August to an amusement park or the fair for their combined birthday present.  We started this tradition about 5 years ago and it…

Have you ever meet someone who instantly made you feel at peace?

Aug. 09, 2012

As you all know I am not out socializing or meeting new people very often, but today I had the chance to meet a very special person and her presence has stayed with me all day.  A few days after school let out for the summer, Trinity’s 5th grade teacher contacted everyone in the…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
