Wednesday afternoon I did something I haven’t done in years. I went to the movies in the daytime by myself and it was great!!!!
Lou and Tabitha were working, Trinity left for Lake Arrowhead with my parents and Tiara was with her caretaker. The only thing I needed to do was start cleaning out our garage and I was so exhausted I couldn’t even contemplate starting that huge task the day before the 4th of July. So, I decided to relax for once and go see “The Heat” on recommendation from one of my best friends.
I was a little freaked out when I first got into the theater because all the end seats on the right side of the theater were taken except the first two rows. I always sit on the right about 6 rows down from the top on the end seat. I then walked over to the left side and when I went to sit down I smelled this old lady perfume. I started to walk away and look for a different seat but I couldn’t see any and I was starting to look like a total freak who couldn’t decide where to sit.
I sat down behind the sweet old lady and instantly starting tasting the perfume in my mouth. I made it through the previews and about 15 minutes of the movie when I couldn’t take it any longer. I couldn’t stop thinking about the smell and was getting physically sick, so I got up and walked back to the right side of the theater and sat in the second row from the front..
Yeah, I know, I am a total freak but I knew I was going to feel sick from smelling the perfume. I actually still feel a little funny from the smell even though I left the area. Has that ever happened to you? I am super weird about smells and can smell stuff that no one else can.
Anyways, the movie was totally hilarious and I laughed my butt off while munching on my dark chocolate covered almonds. Yes, I am kinda back on sugar but not everyday. Why do I even pretend that I am going to stop? Just habit I guess.

I am super weird about smells too! I can’t stand old lady perfume…or any for that matter! lol

Sounds like such fun. I might have to try it when my children are at the beach next week with grandparents. Hope you had a fun (and dry) Fourth. It rained cats and dogs here.
