Yes, Tiara survived her annual MRI at UCLA and she did great! We left the house at 4:30am, and arrived at 5:30 am, just as planned. The driving in the dark was the worst part for me, even though Tiara had a blast. She sang and danced all the way their. Once we checked in she continued performing, much to the dismay of all the nervous patients and their family members waiting for their own surgeries.
She finally started to mellow out.
And then she completely fell asleep right before they wheeled her back to MRI.
Two and half hours later she was done. The anesthesiologist was really worried about oxygen issue and suggested that if Tiara didn’t wake up enough she may have to spend the night. I knew from experience she would wake right up. And guess what? She was dancing in recovery while everyone else was still passed out and or crying in pain. She tore out her IV within 10 minutes and was trying to get off her gurney. We were out of there in 30 minutes. The whole took exactly 8 hours, door to door.
As for painting the bedroom the day before, my plan worked. I was exhausted, went to bed early and only woke up 2 times during the night which is really good for me and I am loving the white.
I realized yesterday that my comment area hasn’t been working for several days so I apologize if you have left a comment and it never appeared. I must have messed something up this weekend when I was moving stuff around. Now I just have to find the problem. Haha.
I also want to mention that if you love comedy and or want to support the TS Alliance, our 13th annual Comedy for A Cure is happening Sunday, March 30, 2014 at LURE in Los Angeles. I won’t be able to attend this year, but Lou will be representing our family.
Hope you have a wonderful day.

Glad that’s over! MRI days are very stressful and full of anxiety! I have been leaving comments and wondering if they are going through!
