Well, you may not know this about me but I am a really poor sport. I don’t really like to play games with my kids because I am super competitive and start calling everyone names and act really bad. It is super pathetic I know, but I can’t help it. Whenever we play cards or Sorry, I end up banging my fist on the coffee table every time a play does not go my way, not in real anger but rather jokingly. Yeah right.
Today, it was pouring rain in Newport so Trinity decided she wanted to use some of her birthday money along with a Target gift card to buy a new Wii game since we were so bored. We hardly ever use our Wii, but recently she had a friend over and they set it up and had lots of fun. We only own a total of 3 Wii games so she decided we needed Dance, 3. After we got home from Target, I agreed to play. Luckily I had years of ballet training, so I won easily. What a bad mom! I should be letting her win or at least trying to keep the score close. Oh no, I had to beat her really bad and then gloat about it. I thought I was so cool until later when Tabitha got home. I was bragging about my winning and I challenged her to a match. Well, of course, what was I thinking, she kicked my butt. So I challenged her again and again and every time I lost. Oh, I was SO MAD! “Lou, can you believe I lost?” I said. “Well, Honey, she is 19 and an amazing athlete, but yes I am shocked”.
Well at least he pretended to lie me, because he of all people, knows what a bad loser I am. And so now everyone knows, I am a poor loser and a poor sport. Oh well…
Happy Saturday…
