Today I decided to try a different approach for cleaning the house and working on my blog. After our walk, Tiara usually takes a nap and I work on my blog, but today I decided to work on the house. I started organizing my super messy closet and then Tiara woke up early from her nap, of course. We went straight to Target, dropped off a package at UPS and then to the pharmacy.
She was ready to come home after those errands and it was already 1:30 p.m. so I didn’t push a much needed trip to Trader Joe’s. Whatever, I would improvise for dinner. After I made her some lunch she wanted to watch Hannah Montana, which is the only show she will currently view. At this point, I couldn’t decide if I should finish my closet or work on my post. Trinity hates when I work on my blog when she is home but she had gymnastics today so I decided to stick with my original plan of putting the house in front of the blog. I would have a little time later for the blog, hopefully.
I turned on TT’s show and went to my closet. After about 10 minutes I walked into the family room to check on Tiara. Oh, boy this what I found!
I guess she heard me walking down the hall so she was trying to hide under the table because she knew I would be mad. I made a small shriek as I entered the room and yet she still stayed under the table. Made me laugh to think she imaged she was hiding in a good spot. She finally came out and looked at me with that adorable guilty look and I threatened her to march right into the bathroom without causing a fuss. For once, by some miracle she listened! I so didn’t want to have more peanut butter spread across the entire house.
After I dragged her to the shower and washed the peanut butter out of her hair and off her body, I went to work on cleaning the coffee table and floor. So my post didn’t get started, the closet didn’t get finished and I had to re-clean an area I had just finished cleaning just because I thought my new plan was better.
Thinking I am going to put my blog first again tomorrow and the cleaning second because if I would have been working on my blog, I would have heard her open the pantry. I keep a child safety lock on the door which she can manipulate but her messing with the lock always alerts me that she is making her way into the pantry. I can usually stop a huge mess before it starts. But once again I learned my lesson, Tiara runs the Goff show, and she doesn’t appreciate change on any level.
The good news is that lots of readers clicked ads for me yesterday and last I looked I had made over $14.00 for the day, which is fabulous. One of my blogger friends forwarded me a link to a website which lists jobs for bloggers. Duh, Tiffani, would have been nice if I was clued in before but better late than never.
Thanks for all the love, support and good ideas!
