I am currently in an expansion phase of my blog. Well, in reality what happens is sometimes I just write my blog for the day and then don’t think about it again until the next day. I am tired and don’t have much time so I just do the bare minimum. I am sure you can all understand this state of mind. As a result of my less than enthusiastic work attitude for the past few weeks my reader numbers were starting to slip. I realized like any new business, if I don’t give 100% everyday, the business won’t grow, so yesterday I started really stepping up my game.
One of my readers (thanks Robin) gave me a link to SixSistersStuff.com. They are 6 sisters blogging together and have written an eBook, 10 ways to grow your blog. I bought the book and it totally inspired me to get into gear. So for the past 2 days I have been trying to really work my social media, which is fun, but I hate to always have my face in my phone or turned towards a computer. It can really start to annoy my family. I have also been trying to fix my site to look how I really want it to look and develop a logo. Yes, still working on the logo. Ugh.
So to the point of this blog, I was reviewing my Counterize statistics, which shows me how many people have visited today, within the last 24 hours, 7 days and since the beginning, etc. I review this data everyday but today I went deeper into the program and it showed me from which country my readers are from and shockingly, I have readers from all over the world. I couldn’t believe it and knew you would be surprised too, so I thought I would share with you where they are from.
- Australia
- Belgium

Can you believe it? I know, I am so excited. The funny thing is that most of them must have found me when they Googled Sprinkles Cupcakes because that seems to be the post most all of them read. In addition, I only had time to scroll through visitors from the last week so there could be more I am missing. Who knows? I am going to have to pay better attention to this statistic. Of course, I started daydreaming about visiting Greece and Portugal, but clearly that is not going to happen anytime soon, so back to work.
I have been having so much fun working behind the scenes on my blog and hopefully within a few days you will see the changes. Also, I have been inspired to write an eBook on” How to Start a blog when you are Totally Clueless. Hopefully I will have this out by the Fall, lets see how summer goes.
Finally, I want to THANK EVERYONE who reads my blog, shares my blog, comments on my Facebook, adds me on Twitter, follows me on Pinterest, follows me on Instagram and mostly CLICKS ON MY ADS everyday. I am super grateful for your support and wouldn’t keep doing this without all of you. Plus, I am starting to make more money which is super awesome and I totally think this business is going to work with time and hard work.
Love you all……
