This has been my life since Friday night when we decided to put our house back on the market in exactly one week. No, we don’t want to move, but this is life and you don’t always get what you want. Yes, my house looked nice before but do people want green and blue rooms or gray and white? I am going to guess the latter and since I want our house to sell, I have decided to paint everything again.
I painted all weekend and Tiara felt compelled to destroy as much as I tried to beautify. She actually broke the frame on our vintage couch in the living room, tore literally every piece of clothing out of my closet and smashed as many crayons as she could find into my floors. On Sunday morning Lou proclaimed Tiara was picking up on my energy and trying to accomplish as much as me but in her own way. Sounds reasonable and makes sense but it makes my life so much more difficult. So difficult that I was near a serious breakdown on Sunday morning.
I woke up at 5am, unable to sleep and decided to get some painting done before the rest of the family woke up. I finished making my coffee and was getting paint from the side of the house when I walked back into the kitchen to find Tiara sitting on the floor. Seriously, is this a joke? I wake up at 5am on a Sunday for some peace and quiet and she follows me? She looked asleep but she wasn’t in her bed like she should be. She must have sensed I was awake and decided to get up too. Someone please help me!
Instead of painting I decided to tape off more areas and then woke Lou at 6:45am to watch her because I needed to go to the market. I figured this was my only chance to get my grocery shopping done, so off I went. When I got home and opened my trunk to unload my groceries out fell the 6 bottles of wine I bought. Yes at 7:15am 4 out of the 6 bottles smashed and broke on my driveway. I walked inside, told Lou, held back the tears, and went in to start making my 10 hour chicken for Sunday night dinner. He knew I was at my breaking point, so he cleaned up the whole mess for me. without even making a comment.
Gotta love that man!
Wish me luck this week, I need it!

Wishing you tons of luck and Tiara reminds me of my girls. They make new messes as I clean up the old. Trust me can so relate to that and then some!! 😉 xoxo

Okay. It took me a while to get past the wine bottles crashing on the driveway. TEARS. The clothes everywhere. TEARS. Tiffany, I’m not Catholic but I think I’ll write the Pope and suggest you for sainthood. Tiara does look very glamorous in her dress. Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow. Hugs and kiss.
