So, I guess as much as we don’t want to look like our parents or act like our parents, sometimes it is just inevitable. I was really in a funk today thinking about what I wanted to write in my blog. I had a great walk with one of my close friends, then I got to talk to one of my special guy friends from college and then I was texting, Mara (pictured above) my BF from college and I was feeling very reminiscent. I pulled out my old albums and started looking through only to realize all the pictures I see of Tabitha on Facebook, look like all the pictures in my albums. We are posing the same, dressed similar and always having lots of fun. She arrived home safely from 3 days of Coachella and at her same age, I survived 3 days of San Felipe. I actually found a picture of myself lying in the center of the highway in Mexico with Mara. The evidence is below…..
Wow, just last weekend I lost sleep over the fact Tabitha got out of her car on the freeway during stopped traffic on the way to Coachella. Life is funny!
You may be wondering how it is I have all these pictures. Truth be told I have always been good at keeping photo albums, not cute decorated albums, well two from college are, but the rest are just pictures shoved into albums. I have 64 albums in my front hallway closet and Tiara looks at them everyday. She is pretty rough on them,so sometimes I have to actually redo the same album over. That makes me really mad! She is so obsessed with looking at the pictures that I had to take the knob off the door so she couldn’t get to them herself. I found her cutting the pages and coloring on them. I am sure you can imagine how crazy I went, since it is sooo much effort to put them together in the first place. Well, I solved the problem, and I still have a few to fix but I am caught up on my pictures until Jan 2012. So happy about that! I guess having albums is rather antiquated in this day and age, but we all love them so I won’t stop doing them until I am an old lady. Hopefully my girls will realize this is one of my rules and continue the tradition for their families. Like mother, like daughter….
Happy Thursday Friends…..

Ha Ha! Love that we are in the middle of the road in Mexico! What were we thinking? And where are your shoes? You mom would die if she saw the bottom of your dirty white socks! I remember that trip so well. You are the best. Love that Tabi has good friends like we were/ are and that she is having fun! Love you!

Was this your way of checking whether I saw the blog. Wow that pic brings back
some memories. I am assuming the mexico pic was one of our felipe trips which coincidentally was our Coachella. Thanks for sharing that Tabitha is the age we
met. Doesn’t seem that long ago and wow I feel old! Love you honey!

kinda, I figured you would like the pic and the anonymous mention of you…..

I can see myself getting into this. Should I just sell out and start facebooking. I keep thinking the fad is going to wear off kinda like when
computers came on the scene. Maybe I should just submit to it. Seems like all the cool people are doing it. I cant wait for the new recipe. Have a good weekend!

You are so funny, I am laughing at your computer analogy. It may be time to submit….. xoxo
