Are you jealous?

Jan. 30, 2013

Tiara hasn’t been having as many seizures lately and as a result her speech is improving daily.  Yesterday she learned the word jealous and won’t stop asking everyone “are you jealous?”

It all started when she gave my mother in law a big hug and looked back at me with a sassy smile.  My mother in law then said “TT are you trying to make your Mom jealous?”

It was as if a light bulb went on in her head, awww, jealous, I like that word.  That night Tabitha offered to give Tiara a shower for me.  While they were in the shower together, Tabitha in her bathing suit and TT naked, Tiara started posing and asking Tabitha, “jealous, jealous?”  Tabitha started laughing her head off and responded “Oh, yeah, Tiara I am jealous of all your rolls.”  Tiara smiled like, “I knew it, you’re jealous.”

And so today it continued.  Every time she looked at Tabitha she asked  “jealous, jealous?”

The great thing about Tiara is she thinks she is the hottest, prettiest, cutest person in the world.  I think Tabitha may actually be jealous of how much Tiara loves herself, but not jealous of all the extra flesh TT carries around on her body.

Short post today, feeling in a funk again.  Had to spend my whole Monday building another 6 drawer Ikea dresser, this time for Trinity.  I was seriously dreading the whole project but Trinity kept saying “Mom, remember what you always tell me, “don’t put off for tomorrow what you could accomplish today.”  I swear I wish I never told her that mantra because she kept throwing it back in my face.  Either way building 2 Ikea dressers within one month, is not recommended for anyone.  One is fun, the second is a nightmare.

Whatever I finished the stupid thing but now my house is more of a disaster than normal, the laundry is backed up, and there is no food in the house.

So I better get my butt in gear and get some stuff done before my newly reformed clean husband arrives home and complains I am a slacker.

Happy Wednesday!

xoxo tiffani

Hi Tiffani, hope you are having a great day! That is a cute post, made me smile, as I often care for children of that nature and they can be so cute while Challenging at times. I see my job as a nurse is to make my kids as safe and happy as possible. I happen to be at work now, just so happens my lil one sleeps all night for the most part. Just stopping by as I do weekly with all likes, I try to hit most of them some time or another, gets to be alot but, I like stopping by.

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
