This is the question I posed to Lou on Thursday night : Would you rather clean the smeared poop out of the trampoline or give Tiara her bath? He looked at me and said, “Oh, you can choose honey, which would you rather do?”
me: “clean the poop out of the trampoline.”
lou: “Yes, I was so hoping you would pick that one.”
You know it is bad when you think cleaning human feces out of the trampoline is a break. Off I go to the trampoline with the paper towels, the trash can, baby wipes and simple green. As I climb in I am super careful to watch were I step. I slowely walk around inspecting the whole thing and I see nothing. Hmmmm, I then call for Trinity because she is the one who freaked out when she discovered the poop in question.
me: “Trin where is the poop?”
trin: “Right next to your foot Mom, don’t you see it?”
me: “Oh, I thought that was a small leaf.” I bend down to inspect it closer and see she is right. Guess I need a new contact prescription. I then realize I totally struck the best bargain. Cleaning up this little piece of poop, will be a breeze. Any MOM could do it in her sleep. I am a professional poop cleaner.
As I have mentioned before, August is always the worst month of the year in the Goff house. Tiara really wants Trinity back in school and me all to herself and Trinity is bored stiff. Which means I constantly get peppered with the question “what are we doing today?” My answer is always met with disdain.
me: ” The same thing we do every day. Clean, do laundry, go to Target and hope Tiara behaves herself for once.” Off she stomps back to her room to bury herself in her electronics until Tuesday arrives.
So the good news is today is September 2 and we all lived through August! Labor Day, the day we celebrate all the laborers in our country. I guess that means all the Moms get to put their feet up and relax for day. Ha Ha, if only that were true.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor day and will someone please turn off the heater, I am so over this humid heat!

This made me chuckle Tiffani! Yup, you did get the better deal, especially if bathing TT is as hard as bathing my youngest (our kids nicknamed him TT too! His real name is Stellan) who hates baths & fights me every single time… Happy labor day to you & Lou!
