My birthday started off with opening this amazing present, which was wrapped by Tabitha. I have to say I think it is the best wrapping I have ever seen! I think it took her over an hour to complete it but she loves to wrap!
I can’t believe I am posting a picture of myself first thing in the morning with glasses, no make-up and in my pajamas. Apparently I have lost all sense of vanity. I so love how my pj’s match the box!
Tabitha was the organizer of my entire birthday this year. She bought this present with her own money, ordered the cake and sushi, decorated the house and picked up the sushi for dinner.
And here is what was in this super fabulous box!
Are these the cutest boots you have ever seen? I think they are. They so are so me, I absolutely love patent leather! I got so stressed when I saw how nice there were I started asking her where they came from, were they super expensive?
tab: “Mom why are you asking me? They are a gift!”
me: “Because they are way too nice for me to wear around town with Tiara. If I know you got some kind of deal and didn’t spend a crazy amount of money on them I will enjoy them so much more.”
tab: “Fine, I got them on sale, used a gift card I had and only had to spend less than $100 of my own money. Does that make you feel better?”
me: “Yes, thank you! Now I can wear and enjoy them without worrying.”
After coffee, I went for a walk with my friend while Lou watched Tiara. After my walk I got ready for my lunch date with Lou, my Mom and sister.
Tiara’s caretaker came early so we could enjoy our lunch without worrying about time. We went to a great Italian place and we all had supper yummy salads. After lunch Lou and I did a few errands together until it was time to pick up Trinity from school. After we picked up Trinity, we dropped Lou at home and he took Tiara to the park. Trinity and I decided to go to the mall and walk around.
After our mall trip we came home and waited for Tabitha to bring home dinner. Sushi is my favorite food on the planet and since we are always on a budget I no longer eat it so that was my special birthday dinner. Along with sushi we had a marble cake from Susie Cake’s. This cake is so sweet it makes your teeth ache while you eat it. Oh I love it!
Tabitha thought it was a good idea to use sparkler candles but they were rather crazy and super dangerous. Tiara was laughing her head off watching Tabitha try and keep them lit.
And this is me blowing out the candles before I indulge in 2 pieces of cake.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, it was a really great day!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
