It happened, we have accepted an offer!

Jun. 24, 2013

As you all know I have been crazy for the past two weeks.   Worrying,  WORKING ON THE HOUSE, and totally stressing myself out about selling our house.  Well, our prayers have been answered.  We have accepted a great offer.

Out of respect for all the parties involved I am not at liberty to disclose any details at this time, but just know it was everything we wanted and hoped for.  Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts, they made all the difference! And thank you to our agent Pat Sweeney for making it happen, he is a really great guy.

I will fill you in later on the details, but at this point I am not feeling panicked.  I am feeling happy.  I am looking to buy and hoping the timing will work out because I really, really, really don’t want to rent for a few months and then pick up and move again.  I don’t think Tiara could handle the changes but we will figure it out.

scratch 1

Tiara has been really violent the past few days and I have some fresh scratches on my face and neck.  So mad she got to my face.  You know how angry I get when my face gets mauled.  As a matter of fact, Pat our agent, had to rescue me on Saturday when he came over to have us sign papers.  She had me by the hair and wouldn’t let go and I heard the door bell ring.  I yelled for Trinity to open it and then once I heard Pat walk in I yelled for him to help me.  He got me free but since Saturday she has been on the warpath.

She may be sensing my stress and anxiety and in turn she is feeling anxious?  Who knows? She might just have PMS which is most likely the culprit.

On another note, I never mentioned that Trinity was going to sleep away camp.  After my post on day camps a few months ago we started talking about a sleep away camp and she decided she wanted to try it.  She is so brave and adventuresome, I am truly impressed.

We picked a camp about 2 hours away and we signed her up for the fashion design track.  Each child enrolls in a theme such as film production, script writing, fashion design, stunt man, water sports, culinary institute, and they do activities related to that theme each morning.  Most of the afternoons are filled with regular outdoor camp stuff like hiking, boating, swimming, paintball, and tons of other super fun stuff.

Trinity had the option of taking a camp bus that picks up a group of kids from South Coast Plaza or me dropping her off at camp.  Guess which one she choose?  The bus!  She is so my child.  I am very proud of her and shockingly I already miss her.  She usually drives me insane with her incessant talking but just knowing she won’t be home soon and I can’t talk to her for 7 days is freaking me out.  You can send the kids emails and they will print them out once a day and deliver them at dinner so I sent her one this morning before she even left.  I promised her she would get one from me everyday.

So it is TT and I driving around Costa Mesa looking for a new house!  I begged her to walk into an open house today and she said “NO HOUSE, NO HOUSE!”  Yeah, we didn’t go in.  Maybe next time.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and happy summer!

Congratulations! One less thing to worry about! Bethany has been violent the past few days too! I’m attributing it to the super full moon! I gotta say you are brave for even thinking about taking Tiara into a house to look around! I’d never be able to do that with Bethany!

PTL! yay for your offer. I bet Tiara is sensing all your stress about getting the house ready. Hopefully things will calm down. And my daughter is same way at camp, no phones. I email her in the mornings. She will have been gone almost 2 weeks. Go pick her up on Friday. Can’t wait to see what you find in the house department. God is good.

congrats; I hope it all works out for you. I will say a prayer you find the right place for you. I am sure T senses your anxiety; you will get through this as you have everything else. You make us all realize how much more to appreciate life. I hope you know that.
What camp is little T going to; I have a granddaughter that I would love to treat to camp.
Will you still be doing the fund raiser picnic in August?

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
