As you all know I’ve mentioned Tiara was getting sick but she was holding her own. All day Tuesday she was fine until he went to pick up Trinity at school.
We are waiting in the pick up line for Trinity when all of a sudden she started wheezing. She never wheezes! I got super stressed out and panicky. Why was she wheezing? The second Trinity got in the car we raced home and I gave her breathing treatment. She seemed better but at about 6 o’clock I couldn’t decide if I should take her to the walk-in for a shot of antibiotics or not.
I decided she would be okay and I would take her to the doctors in the morning. She slept fine until 3 AM. I woke up and heard her panting. I got super stressed out and checked her oxygen. She Had her oxygen mask on 5 Liters and she kept desatting into the 80s. I couldn’t decide which hospital to bring her to and how to get her there. I wasn’t sure if I should call the ambulance or drive her myself. Lou said ’if you’re not sure call 911’, so I did.
Looks like it was the right call because once they arrived they didn’t question whether she was sick but whether it was safe to drive her all the way to Choc. They thought
she was stable enough for the Drive to Choc, so we lucked out.
In the ER they did all the regular stuff. Blood, x-ray and breathing treatments. The xray came back that she had pneumonia and they admitted her to the icu within 3 hours. She’s sick but she still has a lot of fight in her. To the point that security had to stop in at one point in the Er. That was a first!
The cool thing is once we got to the ICU it was like a reunion. Everyone remember Tt, including the doctors, the nurses and the respiratory therapists. We even got to see our favorite nurse, who was always fixing Tiara’s hair last year.
It’s 930 at night, Tt is still awake and I’m praying she goes to sleep soon. I will update more later.

So sorry to here Tiara is in the ICU now and saying some serious prayers today that she will be better real soon and home again even sooner. I know how crazy things get for you when she is in the hospital. Thinking of you Tiffani and keep us updated as you can 🙂 xoxo!!

So sorry to see this bad news, Tiffani. I hope and pray that Tt’s condition improves quickly and that she will sleep and rest peacefully for you. I remember how hard it was for her last winter. We certainly don’t want a repeat of that!
