In progress…..

Dec. 19, 2013

tiffani goff at home

So I found the paint and I love the new look.  I had a great day painting and was done with all the walls by 2:30p.m. but I didn’t finish everything until 5:30.  I had to repaint the chandelier in the kitchen hanging over the sink.  I also had to repaint the inside of my china cabinet and the mirror that hangs over the couch.

This is what I have so far:

As Tabitha said: “Well it looks great if you like boring, but it’s good Mom.”  My thoughts exactly.  It it pretty, but so normal and sophisticated.  For some reason I hate having a normal, nice home.  I need it to look a little edgy.  Don’t fear I have plans in the works and will show you the pictures when all the stuff is back on the walls tomorrow.  For now, I am going to ice my sore shoulder.

Looks great! You will accessorize the heck out of it. Making it edgy and cool. If your house is still up on the market….. I bet this new look will help it sell.

Best of luck and Merry Merry Christmas!

We took it off the market, but I am sure people would have liked this look more than the green stripes. Hope you are enjoying the holidays with your beautiful children that appear to be growing up fast. 🙂 xoxo

It looks very nice. I like the color. I can hardly wait to see what it looks like when you have everything on the walls.

I love the new paint and the new furniture. You inspired me to rearrange my furniture the other day. I switched the living room and family room furniture around and I love the new looks in both rooms. The sofas were really heavy but I was determined to get it all moved while my husband was gone to a meeting. I wasn’t taking any chances of him objecting.

But it does bring up all kinds of paint and accessories thoughts!

Your comment just gave me a big smile!!!! Love that you were moving furniture without your hubby and rushing to get it done. So glad you liked the results. Xoxi

The neutral shades are very calming. My husband has everything painted white. White on white. Cream on white. Kind of makes me feel a bit like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest — but it makes him happy. I do like your gray.

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
