I think I am cursed!

Last night as we were eating dinner on the patio we suddenly heard something smash and glass shatter.  Since Tiara was sitting at the table with all of us we were all baffled as to what could have happened.  I stood up and looked inside.  It was then that I noticed my absolutely favorite picture was no longer hanging on the wall but lying on the ground.  My Mom and I found it at an estate sale a few years ago and I stare at it all day, I love everything about that picture.

Now it was on the ground, the frame was broken and all the glass from the frame was shattered onto the signed lithograph.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. How could it just fall off the wall and break into a million pieces?  Apparently the hook that was holding the wire on the back came loose.  Oh, of course, that happens everyday, NOT!  So I carried it outside to the trash cans and carefully poured all the glass into the can and tried to get the lithograph free without damaging it.  I mean has that ever happened in your house?

While I was doing this, Tiara managed to finish off my dinner and eat another granola bar, since her first two plates didn’t fill her up enough.  Oh well, guess I didn’t need any more dinner. 

So now my wall is blank and my picture is in the garage waiting for me to take it to get re-framed. 

I have to say my mood is at an all time low as if you couldn’t tell.

Today is my birthday and I am a horrible birthday person.  I don’t care about getting older I just don’t like the pressure of having to celebrate my birthday.  Weird but true.   I have learned that when I refuse all lunches and dinners in honor of my birthday I get even grumpier so usually I just agree and end up having fun despite my crappy attitude. 

Yesterday I physically felt horrible so I had to cancel my first birthday celebration which I was bummed about but hopefully today I will be in better spirits.  Lou is taking the day off which never happens on my birthday so he keeps telling me it will be a great day.  Hopefully he is right!
