How I fixed my dry skin with coconut water….

Mar. 16, 2012

my favorite coconut water
Three years ago, I discovered coconut water while at a volleyball tournament in Reno.  Another mom and I went for lunch at Whole Foods and she recommended I try one since our systems were so messed up from the freezing gyms and the sweltering heat outside.  It was so hard to stay hydrated.  Once  I tried it I was instantly hooked.  I have ALWAYS had dry skin my entire life.  After I started drinking coconut water regularly my skin totally changed for the better.  I no longer had dry skin.  I started telling everyone about it.  I got all the volleyball girls drinking it, my aunt, my cousin, my sister, my friends and even my kids.
Trinity had the worst eczema ever.  Her legs were always bleeding from being so dry, and whenever I would force her to drink it, I ‘d see a noticeable improvement in her eczema.

Warning: not everyone likes the taste!

My one friend, really hated it and gave me all the containers she bought and refused to drink it.  She said, ” I don’t care how good it is for you, no way I am going to drink this crap.”

I think Vita Coco tastes the best and sometimes I can find it on sale at Mother’s Market.  The container indicates “Vita-Coco has more than 15 times the electrolytes found in sports drinks and is as natural as natural gets.”  I know that last year Vita Coco  got slapped with a lawsuit in regards to that statement on the label, but I don’t care.  I know it works.  I also know some people think coconut water is a fad, a hoax, a gimmick, whatever, I just love it so I am sharing this information with you. I hope you love it too.

Happy weekend!

P.S. If you have too many cocktails on Saturday night, you will thank me in the morning if you drink coconut water before bed.

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
