Three years ago, I discovered coconut water while at a volleyball tournament in Reno. Another mom and I went for lunch at Whole Foods and she recommended I try one since our systems were so messed up from the freezing gyms and the sweltering heat outside. It was so hard to stay hydrated. Once I tried it I was instantly hooked. I have ALWAYS had dry skin my entire life. After I started drinking coconut water regularly my skin totally changed for the better. I no longer had dry skin. I started telling everyone about it. I got all the volleyball girls drinking it, my aunt, my cousin, my sister, my friends and even my kids. Trinity had the worst eczema ever. Her legs were always bleeding from being so dry, and whenever I would force her to drink it, I ‘d see a noticeable improvement in her eczema. Warning: not everyone likes the taste! My one friend, really hated it and gave me all the containers she bought and refused to drink it. She said, ” I don’t care how good it is for you, no way I am going to drink this crap.” I think Vita Coco tastes the best and sometimes I can find it on sale at Mother’s Market. The container indicates “Vita-Coco has more than 15 times the electrolytes found in sports drinks and is as natural as natural gets.” I know that last year Vita Coco got slapped with a lawsuit in regards to that statement on the label, but I don’t care. I know it works. I also know some people think coconut water is a fad, a hoax, a gimmick, whatever, I just love it so I am sharing this information with you. I hope you love it too. Happy weekend! P.S. If you have too many cocktails on Saturday night, you will thank me in the morning if you drink coconut water before bed.Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional nor am I attempting to giving medical advice.
