First I want to say that I know many of you have been having a hard time reading my posts from the email I send you. I know this because at least 3 people told me today they can’t find the right spot to click so they can finish reading the post and they are super frustrated. I called one of my best friends today and she said “what happened to your hand? I couldn’t figure out how to read your post and I was worried about you.” I told her it was just a bee sting, no worries.
Anyways, I decided I better fix the problem asap. I live chatted the email company and they told me how to fix the issue so hopefully the process was easier today. Fingers crossed.
Tiara and I made our normal trip to Target today but instead of just walking through half the store or heading straight for the snack bar we made a trip around the entire store. This is quite the exercise for Tiara. Our approach is this. Tiara and I both hold the handrail of the cart and walk side by side. She rests her ipad in the cart, where a baby is supposed to sit and she watches a show or listens to music while we push. Today she was listening to music so she was really looking around at the merchandise more than normal.
As we approached the mens section there were these crazy looking underwear hanging up with characters on them. (BTW: please tell what grown man would wear Dr. Seuss underwear or footie pajamas?) She looked like she was headed straight for them and I assumed she was because they were bright and obnoxious looking, but instead of pulling a pair off the rack she said “MIRROR!” She loves to look at herself in the mirror almost more than she likes to listen to music. She is obsessed with her reflection. She passed the underwear and walked up to the mirror between the racks and started smiling and posing to herself. She plopped down on her bottom to get more comfortable and started trying to kiss her reflection. She was so happy it was beyond cute.
The funny thing is that we have passed this mirror hundreds of times, but today is the first time she saw it. After I got her back up we finished our sweep of the perimeter of the store and got in line with our one bag of Hersey’s kisses for Lou, ( he gives them to his customers) and 3 packs of crayons. Apparently Tiara thought the walk was too long and she sat down on the ground again when we got to the check stand. She got up easily without fighting me and once I got her shoe back on we started on our way out. We ALWAYS stop at the snack bar. She started to push the cart past the snack bar without stopping and I looked at her and said “Don’t you want to stop and get your snack today?”
tt: “No, tired, home,”
me: “Ok, let’s go.” I was super worried she would change her mind in the parking lot and throw a fit, but she didn’t. She never mentioned it again. This was a first.
I wouldn’t mind walking back in and letting her get some extra exercise but if you saw how slow we walked and how ofter her shoes fall off you would laugh. She can never keep her shoes on. I used to buy her Converse and they would stay on but then when she took them off in public and chucked them across the room it was always so much more difficult to get them back on. Now she wears slip on glittery shoes but since she walks on the outside of her foot they constantly slip off. I am always bent over in stores putting her shoes back on, while she keeps her balance by holding onto my back. Kind of a funny sight.
Oh, don’t worry I did sanitize her hands the moment I got her in the car.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and if you are in the mood to start your holiday shopping St. Joachim’s is having their holiday boutique today from 11am to 4pm. Tabitha will be there selling jewelry and there will be tons of great vendors.

Sounded like a great Target experience with Tiara for the most part yesterday and loved that picture of her posing by the mirror. In answer to your title, “Yes, she is too cute!!” Happy Weekend now and hope you have a great one 🙂 xoxo!!

What a fun Target day! I wish I would have see you two ladies there today. I would have come up to the mirror and made kissy faces to myself too.
Happy Thanksgiving

That is great experience! Did she go home and take a nap? Did this extra bit of exercise mellow her out the rest of the day? Hope so! Have a great weekend!
