Off to New York and my 21st wedding anniversary…

You are reading this on Friday, but as always I write each post the day before.  So, it is Thursday at 10:00 am and Tiara and I just got home from Trader Joe’s.   We skipped our walk because it is windy out and we are both having horrible allergies, so walking in the wind probably wouldn’t be the best choice.  I am so tired of having allergies!

My house is a mess, Tiara is about to take her nap and I am filled with anxiety.  I only need to pack but I feel as if my heart will leap out of my chest any moment.  I know I will get everything ready but now I keep focusing on how much I will miss TT.  I won’t miss the abuse but it will be so hard to be away from the person I spend 24 hours a day with.  I love her with all my heart and have never been away from her for more than 2 days.

I am really worried that she will miss me more than I miss her and torture my parents and mother in law.  As a result, I have devised a plan.  I am going to upload videos to YouTube at least once a day so she can see her sisters and I.  Well, Tabitha and Trinity aren’t really keen on the idea, so I am be the only star of the videos, we will see. 

I think it will be really fun for her and I have taught my Mom how to access the videos so it may be their savior.  I hope!  Either way I don’t plan on posting while I am away because Trinity has informed she doesn’t want me to use her ipad and carry it around New York.  It may get stolen.  Ha!  Of course my ipad will be at home with Tiara and Tabitha doesn’t own an ipad so it looks like I am out of luck.

I am sure Sam would let me use her computer, but I should probably just take a break and focus on my girls.  Yes, that is what I will do, but I will take tons of pictures and share them with you on Thursday.  We get home on Tuesday night but I am sure Lou would be annoyed if I went straight to my computer so you will have to wait until then unless you want to watch the videos I post for TT.   You can subscribe to my YouTube channel and I think they notify you when new videos are posted or you can just check my channel when you get a chance.  Here is the link.

On another note, today is our 21st wedding anniversary.  As always Lou and I are the epitome of romance.  Wednesday night he came home from work at about 8pm and as everyone was talking I mentioned it was our anniversary the next day.

Lou:  “Oh, I almost forgot!  Did you get me a card?”

Me:  “Yes, I bought you one at Target today but haven’t signed it yet.”

Lou:  “Oh, Ok, don’t give it to me in the morning because I haven’t gotten you one yet.”

Me:  “I know love, you have so busy, plus our anniversary is on the last day of the month, so I wasn’t even sure if I would see you.”

FYI:  People in the car business are never off or home on the last day of the month.  They work and work to try and make their quota for the month, so Lou is always absent on the last day of every month.

Lou:  “Ok, good.”

Thursday morning we wake up and wish each other Happy Anniversary and there on the coffee table I see the card I was planning on giving Lou.  It wasn’t signed still, but it was covered in crayon marks.

Me:  “Hey how did that card get there?”

Lou:  “I have no idea, but I saw TT coloring on it and realized it must have been the card you bought for me.”

Me:  “Great, Tt must have gotten in my organizer again.  Well, since you have already seen it, I guess I don’t have to bother writing you a nice love note.”

I love you!  Have a great day at work!  Kiss, kiss and he was off for the day.

And that is how we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary.
