We found a chore for Tiara…

As you all know, Tiara makes more messes and causes more chaos than anyone in our home and until recently she didn’t have any chores.  How can I find a chore for the queen of destruction?

Tabitha and Trinity are supposed to keep their rooms clean, make dinner once a week and help me with TT when needed, but that’s it.   I am such a loser at assigning my kids chores and following through, it is pathetic.  Once again, I tend to just do it all myself because it seems easier.  Except the rooms, I refuse to clean those pig styes.

Either way I have been trying to find something for Tiara to contribute because it seems like she wants to help, but just doesn’t have the skill set to do much in the way of chores, that is until I discovered this.

I realized that if I opened the package of toilet paper she could place each roll in the cabinet.  I first tried this job with paper towels and showed her how to put line them up in the pantry and she was able to follow suit.  I then showed her how to do the toilet paper and the tissue boxes and guess what?  SHE LOVES DOING THIS JOB!  Every time she puts in a roll of toilet paper she says, “More, More, Good job, TT.”  She talks to herself more than I do.  I usually sit there and clap after each roll goes in the cabinet and talk her through it when she gets distracted, but all and all she does a great job and is super proud of herself.
