Oct. 09, 2012

I have a serious thing for Caramel Corn and I never really let myself eat it because after the first bite, I literally lose all will power and can’t stop eating until the whole bag is gone.  Since it is October, I have been seeing recipes everywhere for the stuff and I have been considering…

My favorite appetizer…

Aug. 30, 2012

So I haven’t posted a recipe in a zillion years, okay maybe a month, but either way I was so over myself today I didn’t feel like thinking or writing about myself.  One of my friends is stopping by for appetizers and of course I made my favorite appetizer which I seem to make…

Jun. 29, 2012

I have been making these bars for years and they are sooo good, people are always asking for the recipe.  These are not on my list of healthy recipes but are over the top yummy.  They would be great for Fourth of July and really good for a brunch dessert, if there is…

Stop, don’t throw me away….

May. 18, 2012

Sometimes Louie and the girls fail to eat the bananas quick enough and they end up like this in my fruit and vegetable holder, disgusting.  If I would have peeled them 2 days before I could have froze them and used them in smoothies but I was being really lazy and didn’t so now…

turkey burger bowl

Apr. 28, 2012

I am starting to think all my recipes look the same.  Kinda weird, but they all taste different.  The turkey burger bowl above is Tiara’s so it has ranch dressing on it but everyone else likes raspberry vinegarette or caesar dressing.  Tabitha is the one who came up with this recipe as she is…

What do you eat for lunch? This is my lunch almost everyday…..

Apr. 20, 2012

Before the blog, I was known for making super extravagant salads at lunch time.  I would roast and saute veggies and make super yummy concoctions, while Tiara was sleeping.  Once she woke up from her nap everything would be done and we would sit down and eat lunch together.  Lately, I haven’t wanted to…

I love this salad!!  I didn’t realize until last year that I actually liked Brussels sprouts, but they are now one of my favorites.  This would be great for Easter brunch or lunch.   1/2 cup pine nuts 1 pound Brussels sprouts, quartered 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons fresh lemon…

Auntie T’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies My nephew, Indiana, calls me “Auntie T” and  he is always telling me my cookies are famous, hence the name.   They are only famous to my friends and family but they always disappear quickly where ever I bring them.  The secret to making really great cookies is in…

Who is tiffani?

Mom, Wife, author of Loving Tiara, retired home stager, and chronic volunteer. I laugh when I'm happy, nervous, or stressed, so basically, I'm always laughing, and you can hear me from down the block if the windows are open. I love to swear even though it isn't ladylike, and I'm brutally honest, but in a super nice way, or so I think? I tend to roll my eyes, and apparently, my face is very expressive because even when I don't open my mouth, everyone knows what I'm thinking. My hubby and I are homebodies; I'm obsessed with always doing the "right thing " and taking care of my skin. I love learning, am always trying to evolve as a human being, and am a bit of a perfectionist. Let's have some fun! xoxo tiffani
