According to my eldest daughter, all I have done for the past few days is look at pictures on the computer. Hmmm, gotta love kids/adult kids and their opinions of you.
As you all know Trinity has been away at camp. The camp posts pictures of the children throughout the day so you can see how your sweet child is doing. Of course being a conscientiousness mother I check the website regularly. OK, about 4 times a day, but is that so crazy? I think NOT!
It seems that I am always talking about the newest picture I have discovered of Trinity having fun, which seems to annoy Tabitha. Maybe she is jealous she isn’t away at camp? Who knows? I ask her questions about her life constantly and she doesn’t always like to answer so I come up with stuff to talk about.
She is leaving for Alaska on Friday with a friend so it’s not like she isn’t going to have her own fun. Lou and I will have 24 hours with only one child in the house. Whoooo, whoooo! Either way, I have been doing a few other things besides looking at pictures.
It appears Tiara caught my cold, so I rushed her to the doctors on Monday afternoon after I discovered she had a fever. She wasn’t really acting sick, just sounded a little congested but I knew we had a very short window to get the antibiotics on board before everything went south. It is so weird that I haven’t been worrying about her health for the past month because she has been doing so great. The second I saw she had a fever I went right back to my worry mode. It’s weird how with her everything can be fine one minute and a disaster the next. I noticed she had developed a sore on her lips the morning after she took her first dose of antibiotics. My heart sank because that is the first indication she has developed an allergy to that medication. I have continued to give her the doses everyday but am watching her mouth closely.
She is allergic to all Penicillin/Amoxicillin’s at this point and if she is allergic to this med she will be taking out another class of drugs she can’t use. Not good, not good.
So as of today I am back on diarrhea duty. Not happy about that! Always checking her diaper before I find a huge mess which takes about 15 minutes to clean up. UGH!
Anyways, I having been trying to put a few pictures of Trinity on this post for you but it appears they are all password protected and I am not savvy enough to get around the system. I guess they don’t want people like me taking the pictures of the kids and spreading them all over the internet. See I love this camp.
I take that back, I figured it out. I still love the camp!
This week we have a things going on with the house that need to be accomplished as a part of the escrow so everything is moving along. Yay! Keeping positive!
Have a great Thursday…

Oh loved seeing all those pictures at the end and how you said that “You take it back and figured it out!” And also saying prayers about Tiara and hoping that she isn’t allergic to the medication!! xoxo 🙂

Loved the photos. Going to pick up my daughter tomorrow. She’s been away for 2 weeks. It will be a twelve plus hour day for me — leaving here at 8 am and getting home past that pm. Will be driving through Starbucks. I’ve been looking at my daughter’s pics too. Lots of old school camp stuff. It looks great. I love that she did the sewing. I used to sew myself when I had time. (before children and the internet. ha). And you probably were just taking a mental break after all your craziness to sell the house. Whenever I hand in a lot of work — I have to take a mental break for a few days.

I love that Trinity was sewing. Don’t think my HK did any of that. I love the idea of that creativity camp. My Joe would love that.

It looks like Trinity is having a blast at camp. I hope Rey will love camp when we can send her there in the summers as she gets older.
I hope you and TT are both feeling better soon.

I hope things are good with Tiara by now. Looks like a great camp for Trinity!! I have daughter’s with same wonderful attitude as Tabitha. I think it’s just the age and the mother/daughter thing… It doesn’t happen often here, but it definitely happens. Oh well! They’ll realize they really do need us some day. Stacie xo
