Yesterday while Tiara was lounging around the house trying not to get sicker, she managed to break 3 major items, all of which I love.
The first was a big tall vintage blue vase that sits on my TV console along with 2 others. To be honest it is a miracle they have been there for years without getting broken but yesterday one went down. Tiara had fallen asleep on the couch and woke up suddenly. I was on the computer and heard her wake up and then a crash! I ran in the family room to see her balancing herself on the wall surrounded by shattered blue glass. I screamed at the top of my lungs and then managed to navigate her to the couch without stepping on the glass. She got one small cut but that was it.
The next item is a gorgeous vintage dish my best friend sent me from Arizona. I have been paranoid she would break it so I constantly move it around the house trying to find a safer spot, but yesterday I was too late. Luckily it only broke in 4 pieces so I am going to try and fix it. It is just too cool to throw away.
And last but not least is the COUCH! The couch has been in our home for 35 days and she (you know who, Tiara) already managed to break the frame. I am not even sure what to say about this except once again Macy’s is sending out a technician to look at it next week. I can’t believe this is already happening. I am hoping it is a fluke but I am worried it will happen again. Poor Macy’s!
And here sleeps my little angel after her day of devistation.
Tiara hasn’t broken anything today but she is sooo grumpy, I just had to turn the car around and abort our mission to Costco. She went into a rage over wanting to talk to her grandma on the phone, which she got to do, but she wanted a longer conversation and freaked out when the phone hung up.
This is me waiting on the front porch while she refuses to exit the car. You can see her mood in the picture below. Scary!
I later made it to Trader Joe’s before picking up Trinity from school but I didn’t take any chances letting her walk and pushed her in the wheelchair. Her caretaker has been out sick for the past 2 days so it has just been the two of us. She was going to have school with her teacher after we picked up Trinity but while we were waiting for Trinity she started wheezing in the car. It scared the crap out of me because she doesn’t usually wheeze.
I checked her oxygen once we got home and it was at 92. Not great but not hospital material. I think we may need a visit to the doctor tomorrow, hopefully not tonight? Just finished her breathing treatment and her numbers didn’t go up but I see she has a fever so hopefully once the Advil kicks in her breathing will get better. When she gets a fever it is harder for her to breathe. Ohhhhhh.
Ok, off to fix dinner. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Sorry for all the destruction and I can only imagine how frustrating this must be. Also hoping Tiara is feeling better and no doctor or hospital visit is required. Fingers crossed and saying some extra prayers for you not his! 🙂 xoxo!!
