So I am beyond exhausted since I have spent the entire day in the garage cleaning. I had been planning a big clean out when we moved but since we haven’t sold our home yet I decided I had to deal with it now. We are having an open house on Saturday and I thought a decent garage might help the situation.
It was so horrible I am sure that any Type A buyers that tried to walk through it in the past were over come with serious anxiety. I know this because every time I walk in there I want to scream and instantly feel overwhelmed.
Either way as of now, I am pretty much done except for a few pieces of furniture I need to put up on Craig’s List as soon as I finish this post.
I called an auction company to come out and see what they would give me for the pieces and I was shocked when he said $150 for everything! I freaking kidding me? I have a 1920’s buffet, a smaller buffet, 5 cell prints framed, an antique office chair that swivels and a 1950’s hand painted chest of drawers. I am pretty desperate to get them out of my garage and I tried to bargain with him but he wouldn’t come up at all. He seriously wasn’t playing the game like on TV, so I passed. To be honest I would rather give the stuff to charity than sell it $150 dollars. So I am going to give Craig’s list a try, I have been successful in selling a few pieces in the past, so hopefully I will find luck again.
Oh and I forgot to tell you that I fixed the Netflix issue on Monday morning right after my post went live. A regular reader commented on my Facebook page that I should go to the settings on my Ipad and it would have the IP address and Subnet Mask address for my internet connection. I did it and there was everything I needed. I went to the TV, entered all the info manually and then tried to log in. It failed the first time but then I tried it a different way and low and behold it worked!!!! I was so excited and grateful to my reader for taking the time to help me. THANKS ANGELA!!!
So that’s it for today as I have tons more work to do!

Awesome about the TV. I am so not the technical person around these parts, but so glad someone knew what to do. And that really sounded like a rip-off and don’t blame you for trying Craiglist. Cleaning out something that hasn’t been tackled in a while always makes me feel better. Exhausted, but better.

150 is absurd! Def try Craiglslist. I just sold our old mission style bed, minus mattress, for $150 and coffee and side tables for a 100 bucks.
